About the Family Resource Center <\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\nLaytonville Healthy Start Family Resource Center was established in 1997 with a California Healthy Start grant aimed at assisting families whose children attended Laytonville schools. The Center is a collaborative formulated under Harwood Memorial Park, Inc., a local non-profit organization and the Laytonville School District.<\/span><\/div>\n <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

About the Laytonville Community<\/span><\/strong><\/h3>\nAccording to the 2020 Census, 1,152 people live in the greater Laytonville area, down from 1,227 in the 2010 Census. Ethnically the population of Laytonville is 15% Native American, 13% Latino, and 65% White. Fifteen percent of the population is under the age of 18.<\/p>\n
Laytonville is located in the unincorporated area of Mendocino County and has no county agencies\/satellites offices to provide health and human services for children and families.
