Harwood Hall, built around 1948 with volunteers and donated lumber, is getting spruced up. A lot has changed in sixty years and the Hall is getting new siding and porch, better lighting, and improvements to our parking lot, ball field, park facilities and more.  We are applying for some grant money but still need to raise at least $100,000. So far, we have raised about $40,000!

This is where our kids skate, play ball, enjoy Teen Night, have prom, participate in summer activities and where we congregate for the Christmas Bazaar, town events, birthdays, fundraisers, weddings and memorial services.  The Park depends on the generosity of our community to be here for all of us to enjoy. Please donate today!

All donations to Harwood Memorial Park are tax deductible and can be made at the Bank of Willits, Laytonville Auto Parts or at Laytonville Healthy Start.  Anonymous donations will be gladly accepted.

There is currently unmet need in the Laytonville area in terms of services and support for our elders. We need your help in identifying specific needs - such as an elder living alone that needs to be checked on daily, or an elder that needs in-home care. We are also interested in identifying local people willing to help provide these unmet needs.

If you have information regarding unmet needs, available resources or possible volunteers, please give us a call at 984-8089.

Memberships are now available. For more information, click here.
