We are pleased to announce that Long Valley Dance has received a grant for $2,500 from the Community Foundation of Mendocino County (CFMC). Representatives from CFMC attended Laytonville Healthy Start's annual meeting recently to present the check. The grant will be used for facility upgrades, new equipment and costumes for Long Valley Dance's upcoming recital.
Long Valley Dance would like to thank CFMC, Laytonville Healthy Start and the Laytonville community for their support of Long Valley Dance and the Community Fitness Center.

There is currently unmet need in the Laytonville area in terms of services and support for our elders. We need your help in identifying specific needs - such as an elder living alone that needs to be checked on daily, or an elder that needs in-home care. We are also interested in identifying local people willing to help provide these unmet needs.
If you have information regarding unmet needs, available resources or possible volunteers, please give us a call at 984-8089.
Laytonville Healthy Start has lots of baby clothes - for boys and girls - furniture and other household items to offer. Give us a call to find out about specific items or if you have questions.
Our staff are ready to help.
