Welcome to the Calendar Page of the Laytonville Healthy Start website. Here you will find information on all of our upcoming meetings, activities and community events. A description of regularly scheduled items is provided below. To view the calendar, click here.

Teen Drop In - closed to the general public
2:45 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., Family Resource Center. Homework, then other activities such as cooking, gardening, arts & crafts, and snacks are included. For kids grades 6-12.
Playgroup for children birth to age 5 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Park or Harwood Hall, depending on the weather. There is no charge to participate.

Self-Help Legal Access (SHLA) Center Videophone Service 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Family Resource Center. This is a FREE service offered and provides access to the SHLA at the Ukiah Courthouse.
Family Empowerment Groups 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., Family Resource Center. Any parent is welcome. There is no fee to participate. Child care is available.

Willits Skate Park 2:00 - 6:00 p.m. weather permitting. The van departs from and returns to the Family Resource Center. For kids grades 6-12 at no cost. Youth must get a permission slip from Healthy Start to participate.
Skate Night
7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Harwood Hall. $1 Admission + $1.00 to rent skates or blades.
Teen Night
6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Family Resource Center/Harwood Hall. For kids grades 6-12. There are lots of activities: games, food, computers, and a movie on the big screen. $1 Admission.


Harwood Park Association Meeting 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Family Resource Center. Everyone is welcome.
Healthy Start Team Meeting
6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Family Resource Center. Dinner is served at 5:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
Rodeo Association Meetings
7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Family Resource Center.
Second Cup of Coffee - Parenting Group Will Start Again Soon - Date TBA The Parenting Group takes place during the Playgroup. Please contact us at 984-8089 for more information.
