The Fat Quail Quilt Shop was opened on September 24, 2004 by Debbie Bowles a 32 year resident of Laytonville CA. She has created a small quilt shop with country atmosphere. The selection of fabric includes batiks, flannels, Japanese fabrics, patterns, books and kits that will satisfy beginning to advanced quilters. She also offers personalized help in fabric selection. The future plans for The Fat Quail Quilt Shop are to expand the line of fabrics and to continue to offer classes ( to see a calender of classes click on the CALENDAR link). The Fat Quail Quilt Shop is open Tuesday - Saturday 10am - 5pm and Sunday 12pm - 4pm.
