Code of Conduct for Adults
Adult Code of Conduct
I will get my child to practices and games on time and ready to play.

I will teach my child that doing one’s best is more important than winning.

I will remember that the goal of this soccer program is for the kids to learn skills and have fun. I will not ridicule or yell at any child, including my own, for making a mistake or losing a game, either on the field or at home.

I will remember that all coaches and referees are volunteers, out here for the kids. I will respect them and their authority, and will not yell at them nor confront them during games. If I disagree with an issue, I will discuss it at the proper time and place.

I will be a positive role model for all kids.

I will not engage in un-sportsmanlike conduct such as booing, taunting, cursing (including on tee-shirts), or insulting other people.

I will not walk onto the field while a game is in progress unless it is an emergency situation.

I will supervise all my children who attend games, and not allow them to wander unattended.

I will clean up after myself and my children, including in the bathrooms and on the fields (wrappers, water bottles, and such). I will help keep the school grounds neat and clean, so the league can continue to use the fields.

I will not bring my dog to soccer games; having dogs around young children is a liability for us, and doggie doo-doo on the field is not fun.

I will remember to look at these again if I am prone to forget.
